DESCRIPTION

If you have ever been interested in working in healthcare now is the time to get started. Chestelm’s PAID CNA Training. Classroom hours are completed at our Adult Day Center right next store and your clinical hours on-site at Chestelm Health Mon-Fri 8a-4p. Full time hours are guaranteed upon completion of the course. Employment is only at this location. We are only looking for people right now who would work 2nd or 3rd shift. Once class is successfully completed and you begin employment your rate will increase to $18.00, and once certified your rate will also be adjusted again to $20.00 base rate. Differentials will be added depending what shift you work.

Chestelm Health & Rehab is a 76 bed facility offering short rehabilitation and long term care. Our goal is to help each resident attain the highest levels of independence and comfort and to achieve their maximum potential.

2.5-Week Paid CNA Training Course- The course runs Monday through Friday right at our facility at 534 Town St Moodus CT. When the class starts the hours will be approximately 8am-4pm. We supply everything you would need for the course. The intention is that after completing the class you work for Chestelm. After your probation period we will bonus you $300.00 if you are in good standing.

CNA Certified Nurse’s Assistant

Job Description:

• Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed.
• Documents personal care given according to facility policies.
• Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
• Observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns.
• Records all necessary charting entries.
• Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.

• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions by others.
• Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the residents and their support networks.
