JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, package fixtures and misc. parts to the required specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A) Essential Functions:

• Package fixtures and parts per work order instruction.
• Ensure tools are maintained as required for the job.
• Plan and perform work and make decisions involving initiative, ingenuity, and judgment.
• Understand and work from verbal and written instruction.
• Set-up and maintain assembly equipment as required for the job.

B) Other Duties:

• Provide assistance to other areas as required.
• Assist in training less-skilled operators.
• Accurately report records of parts and hours required to perform tasks.
• Any other duty as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

• Perform to accepted standards of rate and quality for this level.
• Ability to interact effectively with a diversity of people and personalities.
• Initiative to correct problems when discrepancies occur.
• Flexibility to handle diverse work assignments.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow to provide maximum service to production.
• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following established safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to support and practice company goals and culture.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Material and equipment directly used:

• May come in contact with a variety of chemicals in the performance of the job which requires safety clothing and handling.
• Use a variety of packaging tools.

Working environment/Physical Activities:

• Stooping, bending, and reaching required
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Walking, standing, and climbing stairs and ladders.
• Working area can be noisy and dirty.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read work orders.
• Legible handwriting.
• Good or corrected vision.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to come to work and perform required tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
