Job Title: Outdoor Adventure Coordinator

Pay: $17-$19 an hour

Schedule- Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-10:00pm

• Our company is striving to bring adolescent depression, anxiety, and suicide to all-time lows by 2028.
• Our program serves adolescent girls. Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged.
• As an Adventure Coordinator, you would be responsible for creating a secure and encouraging environment to help support real life change for our students. Our team works to uncover the academic, social, and emotional potential of girls who have been held back by emotional and behavioral struggles. Lake House incorporates Relational and Experiential modalities into every aspect of the program and ensures that therapists and staff are trained to help girls practice these skills on a continual basis.
• Our residential campus becomes part of the expanded classroom that consists of camping, hiking, swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, and other activities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The outdoors have a beautiful way of healing and teaching lessons that textbooks will never be able to instruct. The power that nature holds to bring peace to one's self is undeniable. The more complex society becomes, the greater the need to reconnect with these natural places. Lakehouse Academy is looking for an individual that is excited to share their passion for the outdoors and willing to use off-campus outdoor experiences as a tool for learning. Lakehouse After-School Program is an experiential, education-based program that takes full advantage of all the natural spaces near the campus. We want someone passionate about being outside and sharing these experiences with our students and other staff. We are looking for an individual willing to empathize with a servant's heart, develop trusting relationships, and live with a growth mindset.

  • Valid Driver's License and at least 21 years or older
