ODL is an orthodontic laboratory specializing in custom appliances ordered by Orthodontists and Dentists for their patients; this position has no patient interaction.

What You’ll Do

As an ODL team member, you will be part of our future in the orthodontic/dental industry as it evolves using technology to create products for our customers that help to change the lives of their patients.

AT ODL You will:

• Design orthodontic prescriptions in EasyRx software.
• Review models of the patient's dentition to ensure no distortion or missing data.
• Communicate with Dental offices using HIPAA compliant messaging portal inside EasyRx to convey questions about prescription orders.
• Review message responses from Dental offices regarding questions previously sent.
• Schedule shipping target dates after considering production capacity and the Dental office's need date.
• Evaluate correct billing for orders.
• Communicate with your team verbally and digitally using the phone, Microsoft Teams, and email.

What We’ll Love About You

• You have experience as an orthodontic assistant or dental assistant and have a vast knowledge of dental anatomy and appliances
• You enjoy taking phone calls. You are always pleasant and welcoming on the phone...and off the phone ;)
• You are highly technical when using a computer
• You've got initiative and self-motivation: You enjoy putting in a good day's work!
• You are good with finances and well versed with payment options
• You have a passion for helping patients through the creation of appliances
• Always trying to fix or perfect what bugs or bothers you
• You have knowledge of the workings of appliances and how they impact a patients dentition
• You have a creative flair about you
• Your time management and organizational skills are off the charts, with the ability to work with deadlines, especially using a lean manufacturing mindset. You do what you say you're going to do when you say you're going to do it by.
• Like a fast-paced atmosphere, you are polite and well versed and friendly with receiving and outgoing phone calls
• Orthodontic knowledge is a plus!
