Typical hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Day in the Life
- Attend the shift safety meeting
- Meet with the Operations Manager to review daily tasks and safety measures
- Supervise the activities of operations personnel
- Supervise inventory compliance and maintenance of supplies
- Direct off-loading operations for receipt of materials into the facility
- Make decisions consistent with waste profile data and facility operating permits
- Review and signs RCRA manifests
- Ensures all personnel abide by all safety rules and procedures
- Trains facility personnel relating to processing procedures
What you need to apply
- 3-5 years of experience in an environmental/industrial setting
- Knowledge and understanding of current hazardous waste treatment storage and disposal facility (TSDF) practices.
- CDL B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements a plus
- Thorough knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Comfort wearing a respirator and/or PPE as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
