Job Description
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a safe work environment, which includes housekeeping, labeling and proper disposal of waste
- Following all environmental protection, safety and health procedures, reporting accidents and spills promptly, and making recommendations to improve safe work practices
- Setting up and operating production equipment; loading and unloading product wafers
- Setting up lot (batch) starts, box washing and microscope inspections
- Data entry and documentation of processing and shipment of lots
- Using computers for automated processing of product
- Transporting lots and processing materials throughout the Clean Room
- Cleaning the work area and complying with Clean Room work rules
All of these duties are performed in a Clean Room environment. This requires the wearing of a clean room suit, which is a full body jumpsuit, hood, safety glasses, surgical gloves and surgical mask. The environment does not allow the use of makeup, hairspray, hair gel, perfume or cologne.
We have entry-level, temporary positions, hired through Elevated Resources, as well as direct hire opportunities*, for industry experienced candidates.

SCHEDULE: Maxim Fab North, or MFN, is a 24 hour/day, 7 days/week manufacturing facility. Excellent attendance and punctuality are an absolute requirement in these full-time, compressed work week (CWW) schedules. All shifts require working either Saturday or Sunday.
The CWW shifts and hours are as follows:
- D1 shift* – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6:00AM-6:00PM
- N1 shift – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6:00PM-6:00AM (Base + 11% Wage Differential)
- D2 shift* – Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6:00AM-6:00PM
- N2 shift – Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6:00PM-6:00AM (Base + 15% Wage Differential)
- We are also offering select part time opportunities for entry level, temporary operators. The schedule is to be determined, based on candidate availability and business need.
- Entry level compensation is between $15.50 and $16.10 per hour, depending on shift.
- Direct hire compensation rate for operators with Industry experience has potential to make up to $20.00 an hour, dependent on skill, shift and work history.
- Overtime is paid after 10 hours worked, each shift.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and calculating averages/percentages
- The ability to stand for 10 hours, walking to load and unload product, twisting, bending, stooping, leaning forward and reaching overhead to operate production equipment
- Demonstrate multitasking skills and the ability to understand and work through complex problems
- The ability to distinguish all colors such as red vs. green and see flashing alarms
- The ability to hear machine alarms and to respond immediately
- Basic personal computer and keyboarding skills for the accurate input of data
- The ability to read and follow written procedures on a computer monitor
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to all safety requirements
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ramps and to push/pull wafer lots and carts
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 pounds
