We are looking for an Operations Manager at our Burnsville garage!

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations and supervision of bus drivers and aides for our Burnsville location.

Main Responsibilities Include

• Ensure the safety of the operation as it relates to the service delivered, the students utilizing the service, and the employees providing the service
• Creating a positive work environment by providing all employees with fair and equitable supervision while encouraging professional and personal growth
• Road supervision and camera evaluations to check for safe driving, compliance to company policies, and adherence to route
  
• Effective and respectful communication and interactions with District personnel, employees, staff, and customers.
• Respond and investigate all safety issues and accidents/incidents
• Oversee timesheets and route times for accurate payroll submission
• Compiling and submitting monthly billing for transportation services
• Counsel drivers on procedures, performance and behavior
• Research customer complaints and follow up with drivers as needed
• Maintain compliance of safety sensitive function responsibilities
  
• Sub routes and dispatch area as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Must have a positive attitude, safety minded and detail oriented
• Good communication skills verbally and written.
• Management Experience preferred
• Transportation experience preferred
• Obtain (within 90 days of hire date) a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), with air brake and endorsements for passenger and school bus.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and maintain a valid medical certificate.
