POSITION OVERVIEW

The IT Business Operations Associate will be assisting the executive team with all things IT and Software, improving existing systems, processes, and procedures to create effective structures for growth. This will range from computer operations oversight (including hardware or hardware vendors), data management, and being the software systems (ERP, Accounting Software and Payroll) implementation focal. The role will require a variety of complex information technology support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Our ideal candidate has strong generalist skills, and an enthusiasm for digging deep into the metrics of various operations. A successful candidate will have a passion for ownership and problem solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Become the focal for all things IT, Software, hardware, and business operations as it relates to technology.
• Be the software operations lead in managing and delivering implementation projects (ERP, Accounting Software, Payroll); supervise surrounding business operations activities and assist when needed
• Synthesize feedback from functional teams, customers, partners, and other stakeholders to identify challenges as well as optimization opportunities
• Grow into managing, software suppliers and IT infrastructure and hardware vendors.
• Acts as a customer liaison for the computing operations, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns.
• Actively look for ways to improve upon existing IT procedures, software systems, and businesses processes
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relates to your role
• Adhere to policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets
• Report actual or suspected security and/or policy violations/breaches to an appropriate authority
• Responsible for fostering, growing, and cultivating the Champion culture

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics)
• 0-3 years of experience with IT, Software, Business Operations
• Knowledge of relevant hardware, software, programming languages, and operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and experience with computer applications and operating systems
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a multi-operation system or production control environment.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
