Job description

The Hire Mark is recruiting a Legal Administrative Assistant/ Office Manager for a Boutique Law Firm that specializes in Transactional Law and Litigation in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY.


This is a full-time, in-office position Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with some work from home on Fridays.


Job Duties:

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the law firm
  • Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and partners
  • Greet visitors, maintain office, office supplies etc
  • Preserve an updated case record system
  • Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
  • Maintain and update the law firm's main Calendar

• Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders Skills • Proven experience as legal secretary

  • Knowledge of legal terminology
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, etc)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Outstanding time-management and typing skills
  • Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
  • Working knowledge CRM is a plus
