SUMMARY: Compiles and records production data from plant to prepare records and reports of volume of production and other aspects of production.

POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in preparation of production schedules and batching based on established guidelines and priorities.
  • Assist with incoming inventory and ensure data base is up to date on daily basis. (e.g. Monthly inventories, and live counts of inventory items).
  • Calculates factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, prices and production.
  • Forwards production reports, based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, to the Production Manager.
  • Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
  • Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate personnel.
  • Complies with all employee conduct and safety guidelines and reports all accidents to the Quality Supervisor.
  • Represents the Production Department in a helpful, courteous manner during all interactions with fellow employees and customers.
  • May be required to assist with clerical or other duties involving private employee information. Must handle this information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • English – Spanish is a plus

  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, primarily Microsoft Office Products and Outlook

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
One (1) year certificate from college or technical school or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Driver’s License Preferred
