Overview: Seeking a self-motivated, independent and reliable Occupational Therapist to provide 1:1 therapeutic services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Description: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessment, evaluation, creation and implementation of therapy plans, goals and progress notes, accurate and reliable data collection, consultation and training with clients’s team. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with the client’s support team members and attend team meetings as necessary. Ongoing monitoring and implementation of therapy plan to ensure all goals and needs are addressed.

Hours: Part Time, Flexible.

Compensation: Based on Experience.

Job Duties: Provides one-on-one therapeutic services to clients. Monitors ongoing progress to address issues with the client’s outcomes. Revises the goals and strategies as needed to ensure efficacy. Prepares progress reports to the service planning team at determined intervals. Understand the specific services and outcomes for the client being served. Maintain regular communication with support team and provide timely reports and progress updates regarding client’s progress.

Requirements:

• Must hold a current Illinois license as an OT.
• One year experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities.
• Comfortable working independently.
