Hampton Nursing and Rehab (formerly ProMedica), working towards our mission to provide quality long-term care and related health services, is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team on a per-diem basis.
OT – Occupational Therapist Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Evaluates the patient's function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular status, developmental, social, and cognitive functions.
- Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patient's tolerance to carry-out the treatment plan as prescribed.
- Recommends adaptive/supportive equipment based on assessment; contacts appropriate representative and/or supplier to place order and assists in securing equipment for patient.
- Completes daily documentation necessary for billing procedures per affiliate policy and in compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication with all internal and external customers to maximize quality of patient care including coordination with interdisciplinary team members.
Educational requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist (PT) therapy program – New grads welcome!
Current state licensure
Comfortable with basic computer programs and e-mail.
