Job Summary:
The Nursing Assistant Student is a learning position. The student will complete an (6) six-week paid training program consisting of classroom and clinical training to successfully prepare individuals to achieve licensure as a Nursing Assistant in Rhode Island and regular status employment at South County Health as a Patient Care Technician.
The program will be held on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. After the program is completed, and you pass the State Licensure Exam, you will then be placed in a Full-Time Patient Care Technician (CNA) position at South County Health! You may be scheduled to work the day, evening, or overnight shift. Holiday and weekend rotation are required.

Reports to: Nurse Instructor
Minimum Qualifications: 1. High school graduate or equivalent. 2. Ability to understand and perform instructions and procedures. 3. Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and ability to work as a team member with close attention to organizational skills.
Location: South County Hospital ยท Float Pool
Schedule: Part Time, day, Three days a week, 8 hours per day (Monday, Thursday and Friday)
