Highland Sanitation & Recycling Inc is now hiring for open route helper positions on our St. Paul trash routes. The route runs Monday through Friday, start time is 5:30 am until approximately 2:30 pm.

The route helper position is a labor position where you work on the back of a rear load garbage truck bringing the carts to the truck to either dump by hand or use the hydraulic cart tipper to dump the cart for you. The position does involve a lot of walking each day, so be ready for physical activity! The bulk of the work is cardio from all the moving back and forth from the carts. This is a great position that takes advantage of being outside each day instead of stuck in a warehouse or cubicle!

Additionally, this position can extend into training to get your Class B license as well, which increases the pay to $25+/hour once the license is obtained!
