Aldora Aluminum and Glass Products, Inc, an industry leader, provides glass and aluminum fabrication out of 6 manufacturing facilities located throughout the Southeast United States.

Non- CDL Driver is needed in Charleston, South Carolina.

Essential Job Duties: Transport glass while interacting daily with customers to help resolve any issues that may arise. Loading, unloading glass, and aluminum products. Load securement, daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, multiple deliveries, and customer service. Regular attendance and adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Aldora Safety Rules, are essential functions of your job.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible starting time.
• Unload/load glass/metal as required at each stop.
• Follow all DOT and Aldora Safety Policy’s and procedures.
• Call in all order issues, back orders, missed deliveries, etc.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure load is safe and secured properly.
• Keep trucks clean and maintained.
• We require a minimum of 2 years recent CMV driving experience or completed a DOT driver training class from an accredited truck driving school and 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
• Must be able to complete electronic log-book requirements and all other assigned necessary paperwork.
• Must be able to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules as well as effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be in compliant with all DOT requirements including a Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Maintain a positive image of Aldora Aluminum and Glass at all times
• Good interpersonal and communications skills a must

Physical Requirements

• Employee must have the ability to wear all required safety equipment to include steel toe boots.
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Withstand repetitive motion of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

Must be able to pass a physical and a pre-employment drug screen. Subject to the Aldora Drug and Alcohol Policy including but not limited to Random Drug screening.
