The New Ventures Analyst is a senior level analyst position that helps plan, execute, and report the status of growth-related projects central to the strategic vision of the organization. This position requires the employee to work quickly, with high level of initiative and a high degree of detail. The New Ventures Analyst will interact with senior organizational leaders and various teams within the company including Finance & Billing, Underwriting & New Business, IT, Channel Partner Support, Project Management and Operations. The New Ventures Analyst will report to either the VP of Operations or the Deputy Chief Marketing Officer.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Create and execute plans that will support growth initiatives in the organization
  • Work with Financial team on preliminary financial analysis for new ventures
  • Create business plans, organize, and execute procurement activities, track financial aspects of new initiatives to plan
  • Become a central point of contact on implementation status of new initiatives, providing clear and timely guidance
  • Build long-term relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors
  • Project high degree of professionalism and confidence
  • Help promote and maintain a positive company image

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • A background in customer service or marketing is a plus
  • Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly
  • Ability to work well with others and lead a team
  • Attentive to detail and organized
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage several jobs at one time
  • Ability to travel

Miscellaneous Requirements:

Work Environment

Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. The noise level in the work environment is generally low.

Physical Requirements

Ability to reach high and low; open, close and retrieve files from file cabinets as well as operate computer keyboard and appropriate office equipment. The position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, sit for long periods of time, lift 15 lbs., open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
