Schedule: M-F 9am-6pm, ability to work some nights and weekends, ability to travel

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall Strategy

  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to plan and coordinate strategic and operational support across all areas of the organization
  • Provide Executive Director and other department leaders within the organization with insight and analysis of select operations
  • Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives
  • Maneuver and plug into all sides of the business to support ongoing projects and initiatives with the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to Identify and provide recommendations for improvements on processes across the organization
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams within the Volo Kids and Volo, Inc. organizations in order to ensure that all operations are being executed efficiently and successfully
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, and put structure in place to boost efficiency and growth
  • Work with local markets to encourage integration between departments with the goal of creating a support system that improves all products across the board

Programming and Operations

  • Manage the strategy and oversight of local payroll forecasting and processing
  • Support local part-time staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to identify registration gaps and support remediation efforts with the National Marketing Manager and National Program Director
  • Collect data and provide analysis to support program evaluations and ensure brand quality
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and National Program Director to create and maintain product standards for new after-school program model, including enhanced curriculum, program logistics, and program revenue.
  • Standardize and maintain a national internship program that includes recruitment strategies, training, goals, and daily responsibilities.
  • Work with the National Program Director to analyze evaluation data and trends and create improvement plans where applicable
  • Optimize daily operational processes by identifying areas that can be streamlined to support exponential market growth

Training and Staff Development

  • Work closely with Foundation Leadership and the Training Team to implement full time staff onboarding and training sessions
  • Collaborate with the National Program Director to improve volunteer training to boost attendance and overall experience and retention
  • Establish tools and processes that local markets can utilize to promote best practices for quality talent acquisition
  • Create a plan for comprehensive part-time staff training utilizing our LMS and identify areas for continued development
  • Build a process for evaluating and rewarding dedicated part-time staff

Fundraising & Development

  • Work with the Executive Director and Development Director to support national campaigns as needed, including local signature events and our largest fundraising event, the End of Year campaign
  • Enhance local fundraising efforts through current activation strategy analysis, improvement, and execution
  • Collect program data & provide analysis to support future funding opportunities
  • Support the creation of and maintain data for annual local and national impact reports

Qualifications


MUST-HAVES

  • BA or BS degree; minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated success in leading program strategies with the ability to identify and respond to opportunities while tailoring, designing and managing innovative, high-quality programs
  • Ability to work nights and weekends (as needed)
  • Ability to travel
  • Can marshal resources effectively and comfortably navigate a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented project manager – you have experience managing multiple projects across function areas and feel comfortable wearing many hats
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dynamic personality interested in working in, and contributing to, a fun and active work environment - inside the office and out in the field!

  • Salary $55,000-$60,000
