Now Hiring an National Account Sales for our Chicago Territory!
This is a sales representative position with responsibility to maintain strong and long-term customer relations in the assigned sales accounts. The National Account Sales representative, in sales calls, uses a detailed knowledge of building materials and problem-solving consultative approach to meet the needs of the customer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: This list of responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
· Maintains an up-to-date file for each national account. This includes but is not limited to product usage, buying habits, product preference and opportunities.
· Resolves customer issues and complaints that arise.
· Proactively communicates customer specific information such as low inventory items, sample requests, projected truckload orders with customers and internal team.
· Promotes, educates, and trains customers on current products and services.
· Provides quotes for customers on requested products and awareness to promotions that are running that align with the customer’s needs
· Submit expense and mileage reports with all appropriate receipts.
· Attend sales and other organizational/customer facing meetings.
· Participate in customer and supplier engagements that foster relationship building.

· Good oral and written communication skills including timely and thorough follow up with stakeholders.
· Ability to problem solve.
· High attention to detail.
· Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Ability to work cross functionally.
Qualifications
· Associated degree in business, sales or marketing preferred.
· 1+ years of prior sales experience preferred but not a limiting factor.
· Experience within building supplies industry a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
