Wages start between $28-$36 based on experience and assessment, with detailed steps for promotion and pay raises

12 Hour Schedule: 5pm-5am

Week 1: 2 days on/5days off

• Off Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Work Wednesday and Thursday

Week 2: 5 days on/2 days off

• Off Wednesday and Thursday
• Work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

What do Manufacturing Mechanics do at Pratt Industries?

These skilled multi-craft professionals are crucial to the safe and effective operations of this facility. Our Manufacturing Mechanics maintain and repair the machinery involved in turning recycled paper into the 2-D version of a corrugated box and getting them to our customers! Think boxes for Domino’s pizzas, moving with Home Depot, Amazon deliveries, Hello Fresh meals, and more! (And yes, we make those!)

What experience and skills are required?

• Troubleshooting of 3-Phase power/electricity
• AC/DC Motors and Motor Starters
• Gearboxes/Gear Reducers
• Basic working knowledge of PLCs
• Basic working knowledge of VFDs
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatic Systems

Top candidates will possess the following Skills/Experience

• Experience with electrical instrumentation
• Ability to get online to troubleshoot logic controllers/VFDs
• Boiler/Steam
• Welding/Fabricating
• Conduit Bending
• Machining Skills (Lathe, Mill, Press, etc.)
• Industrial Safety

What is the work environment like?

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.

• The employee is occasionally required to sit.
