POSITION SUMMARY
*THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN DES PLAINES AND REQUIRES TO WORK ONSITE
Body Repair Technicians with MCI will successfully repair all body and frame components on MCI coaches.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Ability to diagnose and repair all body and frame components including riveted, spot-welded and perimeter-welded parts, panels, frame members and bulkheads.
- Must be able to remove, repair and replace parts including lights, doors, windows, glass, moldings, upholstery and any additional body accessories.
- Welding and metal preparation.
- Frame straightening.
- Provide accurate repair time estimates
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of automotive body repair experience required.
- Must be proficient in the use of pneumatic riveter, sanders, grinders, hydraulic pullers, pressure painting equipment, standard fastener equipment, oxygen/acetylene welding, ARC, MIG and T.G. welding equipment and body filler material and fiberglass.
- Must be able to provide own small hand tools and body repair tools required to perform body repair functions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Pre-employment drug test and background screen required.
