Mobile Fitness Instructor/Driver (PT)
Job description
If you are looking for a job that allows you to have fun while you work, then this is the position for you! The staff member will have shared responsibility of daily operations of the FUN BUS in addition to driving the bus to and from schools daily.
Hours: M, T, W, F 8:00-12:00*, TH 8:00-1:00
- Drive bus to and from schools, parking at each school. (No CDL required. Training provided)
- Lead fitness activities based on the weekly lesson plan.
- Ensure the safety of children.
- Daily set-up and cleaning of equipment.
- Communicate with daycare center directors/owners and teachers.
- Collect customer payments from Fun Bus lock box in each school.
- Maintain accurate records (class rosters, etc).
- Build relationships with current staff/parents.
- Assist in identifying and marketing to new client schools.
- Lead efforts to increase enrollment at current schools (i.e. occasionally arrive at schools early or stay late to inform parents about Fun Bus).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work well w/children between the ages of 18 months and 7 yrs.
- Ability to work well with other adults (co-workers and daycare workers).
- Ability to work effectively w/minimum supervision.
- Ability to physically demonstrate activities to children.
- Honest, trustworthy and dependable.
- Positive and caring attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Criminal and social services background checks (paid for by Fun Bus).
- Experience working with preschool children highly desired.
- Experience managing customer accounts a plus.
