JOB SUMMARY

The Millwright Laborer will work under the direct supervision of the Foreman and Director of Millwright. The Millwright Laborer will install and/or make repairs to grain facility equipment. This position requires a candidate who has some general construction skills and is willing to travel.

Qualifications:

• Motivated, punctual, and dependable

• General knowledge of a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders, and saws, as well as non-powered hand tools

• Ability to use power tools

• Willing to work from heights

• Must be able to identify metals – thickness, sizes, etc.

• Must be able to identify basic tools (e.g., allen wrench, crescent wrench, socket sizes, etc.)

• Must be able to read a tape measure

• Must be able to perform general maintenance and upkeep of supplies and machines

• Rigging experience preferred, not required

• Structural steel erection knowledge preferred, not required

• Sheet Metal Fabrication preferred, not required

• Complies with all health and safety procedures
