License Program Manager

Hiring Bonus of $ 2,000 available to external Candidates

We are seeking a Licensed Program Manager for our outpatient mental health clinic in Coon Rapids, Family Life Mental Health Center. This position is responsible for the management of the program’s policies and procedures, and provides clinical direction, oversight, and consultative guidance to staff regarding services, client billing and documentation requirements. The Licensed Program Manager will also maintain a small caseload and complete comprehensive evaluations as needed.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Hiring Range: $80,000 - $85,000 annual salary

Location: People Incorporated's Family Life Mental Health Center, 1930 Coon Rapids Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in behavior science
  • Current and valid Minnesota license as an: LICSW, LP, LPCC or LMFT
  • Board approved to supervise candidates toward licensure
  • Three years (6,000 hours) experience in human services
  • Two years supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience providing services to people with mental illnesses
  • Three years supervisory experience in mental health services
Main Job Duties:
  • Support organization’s Mission, Vision and Values as well as program and organizational policies, procedures and service standards, ensuring staff understand and integrate accordingly.
  • Responsible for overseeing a program’s staff, budget, licensing, and compliance requirements
  • Manage program time and work schedules, ensuring proper staffing occurs to meet the needs of the clients.
  • Establish and oversee administrative procedures to meet objectives set by boards of directors or senior management.
  • Manage the work of assigned program staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper procedures, providing coaching when errors or problems are discovered.
  • Provide guidance and evaluation of client development plans and progress toward identified goals
  • Attract, hire, orient and retain high quality staff providing training, assessing strengths and development needs and providing timely and specific feedback.
  • Partner with senior leaders on maintaining program budget needs and providing guidance to staff to ensure that all financial protocols are followed
  • Establish proper authority relationships among members of the work group and create a congenial work environment while supporting workplace policy and procedures
  • Responsible for the review of all documentation of case and progress notes of licensed and unlicensed staff ensuring that they are accurate and timely entered into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
