TITLE: Mental Health Specialist

DESCRIPTION: The Mental Specialist will work closely with the Project Aware team, Mental Health Providers and districts to connect students and families to services. They will be directly responsible for helping the families connect with service providers outside of the school setting and for following up with families to ensure services are being utilized. The successful applicant for this position will be able to work collaboratively with the multiple stakeholders and successfully document activities for grant data collection. The successful applicant will work closely with the CCISD Public Engagement specialist to co-create materials for dissemination and to execute engagement events. They will work closely with other CCISD team members to support individual students. Occasional travel to Lansing for meetings and conferences will be necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Human Services related field required. Experience working within schools and/or MSW or similar degree preferred.

SALARY: Based on experience and credentials, starting salary $40,000+

LENGTH: Full time school year position, 185 days, may require some evening or weekend work
