Receptionist Position (Check-Out)
Taylor Family Healthcare is searching for an organized and reliable Receptionist for our front desk. We are looking for someone who is a team player, has the ability to multitask, and can handle a high volume of work in a thriving, fast paced environment.
The perfect candidate is someone with excellent time-management skills, can communicate directly with medical staff as well as patients, while presenting a friendly and positive attitude. This position is responsible for various daily tasks and assignments, including but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist other front office employees with daily administrative tasks; processing in-office and over-the-phone payments
- Send and receive faxes, distributing them throughout the office
- Scheduling and confirming appointments, assigning documents to patient charts
- Assist with completing FMLA, Patient Assistant Program forms, etc.
- Answer phones and direct calls accordingly, while taking detailed messages to ensure proper communication and patient care
- Greet patients courteously and assist with check-in and check-out
- Update patient forms yearly- ensuring 100% accuracy within the EMR
- Organize and maintain patient files and documents- always staying compliant with all HIPPA, OSHA, Local, State, and Federal laws.
- Schedule referrals, send lab and/or imaging orders
Qualifications:
- Knowledge in data entry, word processing, EMR systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Problem solving and time-management skills
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST!!
