Who we are:
Freedom Medical Inc is a leading provider of hospital equipment and due to our constant growth, we are looking a detail oriented individual to join the team at our bed frame and mattress repair facility in Exton, Pennsylvania.
About this position:
You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of low-air-loss mattress systems a a variety of tasks including the assembly, disassembly, and repair of air surfaces, cleaning and disinfection of air surfaces, troubleshooting electronic control units and other general warehousing. We are seeking a detailed, reliable and motivated individual to join our team. The hours of operation are 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday.
Job responsibilities:
Freedom Medical follows all CDC guidelines regarding PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), hand hygiene, physical distancing, and sanitation procedures. Freedom has a biweekly communication reinforcing this focus on safety.
Our policy is that all new employees must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Proof of vaccination must be provided to the hiring manager prior to the employee’s start date.

Job responsibilities:
- Inspect, disinfect, repair, and test various types of hospital therapy surfaces (mattresses).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic control units (electronic and pneumatic systems)
- Maintain documentation of inspections and repair of equipment.
- Maintaining stock parts level
- Assemble components into sub-assemblies, and sub-assemblies into final products.
- Adhere to strict compliance and quality guidelines.
- Assist in packaging and shipping completed systems.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn, and excel
- Ability to consistently follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Must have reliable transportation
- Prior low air loss system experience preferred, but not required
