Job Description:
Works closely with the Health Center Managers and Medical Assistants to provide standardize training current Curriculum and preparing new Curriculum. Collaborate with Clinical Services and Operations Administrative staff on projects ensure efficient center operations and high-quality patient services.
Overview of what you as a Medical Clinic Trainer will do:
- Oversee the Ultrasound training and proficiency program under the supervision of the CMO/Ultrasound Program Director.
- Implement other training programs for existing Medical Assistants.
- Work closely with the Director of Health Information Technology to remain fluent in Electronic Medical Records documentation and updates and assist in training needs.
- Travel to all PPM locations and routinely support in one-on-one training as needed.
- Remain fluent in policies and procedures of PPM by working periodically in Family Planning Services and Surgical Services.
- Assist CMO with production of the Medical Standards & Guidelines. Amend client fact sheets, medical chart forms, and the Medical Standard Guidelines Manuel.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED plus four years’ experience working in outpatient clinical setting; OR a four-year degree with two years of experience.
- Experience training or mentoring others.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately after employment.
- Bilingual – a plus!
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
