South Louisiana ENT & Facial Plastics, SLENT, is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our coding and billing team. This is a full-time position in our Mandeville, LA location.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of medical billing and coding regulations, as well as excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting electronic medical claims, payment posting, following-up on unpaid claims to resolve discrepancies, answer billing phone calls, and other duties as assigned.

The position requires a candidate with at least 3 yrs. coding and denial resolution experience. ENT and/or professional surgical coding experience is preferred. Position reports to Billing Supervisor & Practice Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Process medical claims and invoices.
• Verify accuracy of patient information and billing codes.
• Ensure compliance with insurance policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activities.
• Resolve discrepancies between patient records and insurance claims.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
