Position Summary: Our Internal Medicine department has an opening for a on call Medical Assistant. If you like working in a fast pace office and being part of a team come join our office.

Essential Job Functions:

• Some of the duties specific to this position are to assist with patient care examination and related tasks:
  • Rooming patients, entering and recording all pertinent information into electronic medical records.
  • Maintains clean and orderly exam rooms.
  • Ensures exam rooms are properly stocked with needed supplies and equipment.
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments following clinic policy and procedures.
  • Calls results and relays messages to patients as indicated by a provider in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Creates and maintains tasks and documents all patient interactions.
  • Call/Fax/ prescriptions per protocol

Qualifications:

• Past MA experience preferred.
• MA certification is required.
• Must have outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
• Must also be a self-starter, team player, dependable, friendly and professional.
• Be able to multi-task and work efficiently.
• CPR certification required upon hire.

Hours: 0-40hrs per week Monday-Friday 7:30-6pm
