Elite Pain Management is seeking a qualified medical assistant to work at our clinic in Springfield, MO. We are looking for motivated, compassionate individuals who exhibit leadership qualities. This medical assistant must be dependable, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, exhibit valuable time management skills, be exceptional at multitasking, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time weekdays

Responsibilities:

Obtain and review medical history

Navigate electronic medical records and record all relevant patient information into the EMR

Assist patients with observed urine drug screens

Escort patients to exam rooms and assist physician as needed

Answer patient phone calls, provide patients with medical results and confer with physicians on patient's treatment

Clean and stock exam rooms as needed

Assist with lab procedures as required

Perform clerical duties and assist with scheduling of patients

Other:

Must be proficient in typing, have great communication skills

Work well with others and be flexible

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Must want to work in a friendly upbeat clinic and enjoy coming to work every day.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
