Seeking a Medical Assistant for a pediatric practice in Chantilly, Virginia. Must love working with kids and providing excellent patient care. Candidate must be outgoing, efficient, detail-oriented and be able to multitask. Willing to train the right candidate. Ideal opportunity for someone applying to medical school.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and room patients
• Taking vitals and checking and accurately documenting
• Administering and documenting vaccines and other medications
• Providing simple phone advice and patient follow-up
• Clerical work such as assisting with completing school forms, scanning documents, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
• Cleaning and stocking exam rooms and other clinical areas
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and patient care abilities
• Strong team player
• Flexibility in hours
• High school diploma and medical assistant diploma (preferred)
• At least one year experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
