Job description
The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the automation system design and mechanical design of components within that system. The Mechanical Project Engineer will facilitate the transition of products into the manufacturing and procurement environments and work with the manufacturing team in providing design input and assessments on new designs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Analyze process flow of automation system and apply best practice design.
· Work with internal resources and suppliers to finalize system design.
· Coordinate with OEM suppliers engineering on project equipment design requirements
· Design mechanical assemblies & weldments for new products or design improvements
· Develops and maintains bill of material, tool standards, process updates and documentation
· Performs other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
