Operating Company is looking for a Mechanical Designer/Drafting Engineer to join their highly skilled team. Feel a great sense of pride and ownership as you are seen as the expert that helps keep businesses running.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews the design engineer’s data to develop mechanical layouts and detailed drawings.
• Design hoist drums, shafts, axles, crane girders, cabs, trolley frames, sheeve nests, hook blocks, etc.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed in an accurate and timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• Must be competent in AutoCAD or CREO (3D) with professional work experience.
• Familiar with welding symbols, GD&T, fits, and machine finish symbols.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
• Experience deciphering complex drawing sets.
• Ability to create drawing layouts for assembly.
• Strong drafting skills, mechanical aptitude, creativity.
• Ability to travel in the to perform accurate, and detailed data collection is a plus.
• Must be able to pass both background check and drug screening and be free and clear from any non-compete contracts.
