We are seeking assertive and knowledgeable Mechanic foreman to join our growing team as a Foreman. This is a full time opportunity.
Pay rates are based upon experience and years of service.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years of Experience as a Foreman
- Valid CDL Drivers license preferred
- Knowledge of NYS DOT School Bus inspection requirements
- Familiarity with A/C systems and scan tools preferred.
- Must have the ability to and identify the cause of breakdowns and repair them using the most optimal solutions.
- Must be able to direct, assist and structure shop activities and will be responsible for staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Oversee staff completion of inspection, safety checks on vehicles, and diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
- Coordinate service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Schedule and oversee staff to ensure efficient job completion.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Pay: $1,125.00 - $1,450.00 per week
