Are you the go-to material problem solver on the production floor? We are looking for a magician with the know-how to improve the material flow for an automotive supplier in the middle Tennessee area. This is a great opportunity with a growing company!!! This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Materials department. This position will handle Shipping, Receiving, Engineering Change, Inventory Control and other duties as assigned. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. This is a temp-to-hire position after 60 days and will receive a $1.00/hr increase at that time. 1st shift hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm and 2nd shift is 4 pm - 1:30 am. Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays. Overtime available.

Responsibilities

Perform inventory counts daily on the floor - be able to spend most of the day walking, counting material and providing accurate inventory counts. Must be detail oriented with little supervision needed.
