Responsibilities:
- Verify part number and piece count of material being packed.
- Ensure product is moved in a safe manner and processed without damage.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms, records, and enterprise system.
- Examine and inspect items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Compare shipping documents to items received to ensure that shipments are correct.
- Determine and use the most appropriate pack materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Utilize SAP to determine carrier for shipment and ensure that all carrier specific labels are affixed to the appropriate packages.
- Perform all other assigned duties as instructed by management.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED required
- Years of Experience: 0+ years of experience required
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications and SAP
