Sedona Staffing Services in Temple, Texas is immediately hiring for Material Handlers!
Work Hours: 1st Shift (7 AM to 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $13.75 per hour to start DOE
Job Type: All positions are temp to permanent with benefits and overtime available!
Job Responsibilities May Include:
- Manually move freight, stock, or other materials to and from warehouse, loading docks and production areas or perform other general labor
- Sort cargo before loading and unloading
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs
- Stack cargo in locations in warehouse or production holding areas as directed, using pallets or cargo boards
- Running Production Machinery
- Palletizing Items
- Assembling items
- Performing other general warehouse related responsibilities
Requirements:
- Must have proof of High School Diploma or GED
- Must have at least 6 months previous warehouse/Industrial experience
- Prior forklift or pallet jack experience is preferred
- Prefer Candidates who can read a tape measure
- Must be able to start immediately
- Must be able to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screening prior to starting employment.
