Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receipt, storage, distribution, labeling, and shipping of GMP materials, chemicals and supplies.

The Role

• Participate in project work as needed to achieve department goals
• Perform routine physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, labeling, and distributing of products/inventory
• Maintain storage area by organizing floor and rack space
• Keep warehouse equipment in good repair by performing daily preventative maintenance tasks
• Inspect all items for quality and damages in the receiving, storing, labeling, and shipping processes, report findings to management
• Advise management of shortages or discrepancies in inventory levels
• Responsible for labeling, transport, and staging of production materials to support production schedules
• Operate machinery such as sit-down or stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to perform routine physical handling of items
• Perform inventory labeling, re-labeling, and printing as directed and in adherence to procedural steps
• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment preferred
• Experience with utilization of barcoding equipment .

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour
