Material Handler

We are currently hiring full-time Material Handlers in Ladson, SC (Mercedes Benz Plant). The Material Handler is responsible for assisting the Environmental Project Supervisor in all efforts at the customer locations. Material Handler will assist manager in driving continuous improvement within the on-site process.

Schedule:

1st Shift Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

RESPONSIBILITES:

Manage proper handling or recycling materials.

Operate forklift/tugger/cart for collection of trash and recycling.

Operate baler/foam densifier.

Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and employees.

Provide a safe work environment for all employees.

Maintain inspections and recordkeeping.

Assist and/or supervise team members as needed.

Complete special assignments effectively and in a timely manner.

Assist Environmental Project Supervisor in coordinating supplier and customer facility visits and audits.

Assist Environmental Project Supervisor in driving cost savings programs implemented throughout FEM to meet required budgeted targets.

Complete all required MPW (FEM) Human Resources and Health & Safety training, in addition to customer specific required training.

Perform other duties as directed.

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
