The Role

SPM Oil & Gas currently has an opening for a Material Handler located in Fort Worth, TX. As a Material Handler at SPM Oil & Gas, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials within or near the district, service center, yard or work site.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries

• Use of a Order Picker/Cherry Picker, Counter Balance, Swing Reach/Turret Truck

• Assist with new orders, cycle counts and scanning equipment operations

• Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments

• Ability to understand Inventory Control Process

• Exhibits equipment and product understanding

• Ability to read work orders and follow verbal instruction

• Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement

• Maintains work area, machines and equipment

• Operates and inspects industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products

• Assists in developing a culture that works to achieve and maintain and accident free workplace

• Performs other job duties as assigned
