The Master Data Specialist coordinates/executes the creation and change of master data for products manufactured in the North America external manufacturing plants.

This position reports into Director Supply Transformation and is based at Skillman, NJ.

What will you do

The Master Data Specialist coordinates/executes the creation and change of master data for products manufactured in the North America external manufacturing plants, including packaging materials, chemicals, and other basic data needed by the external manufacturing plants. The Master Data Specialist manages, develops, and implements work processes to ensure accurate bill of material and purchasing information for external product supply and aligns with regional master data governance to ensure compliance to regional standards. The Master Data specialist works to build/validate bill of materials in the global digital tool repository and/or SAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the gathering of required master data input from various functions in the external manufacturing plant and within Kenvue (e.g. Production Planning, QA, Packaging, Engineering...) to build and validate Bills of Materials in global digital tool repository and/or SAP
  • Take the responsibility for complete and accurate data inputs in regional material master systems
  • Align with Regional master data governance to ensure compliance to regional standards and regulatory specifications
  • Participate in new product launch meetings to understand data requirements and create new Bill of Materials master data for system input
  • Understand change control processes and systems and coordinate/execute changes to other basic master data needed in the external manufacturing plants, such as suppliers, materials, and Bills of Materials.
  • Review lead-times and minimum order quantities with key stakeholders and recommend changes to the regional planning manager
  • Ensure master data is available and accurate for Business Cycle Planning
  • Develop processes and governance for Bill of Material data
  • Apply an understanding of the interdependencies between planning-related parameters with an End-to-End perspective to facilitate and drive regular data reviews
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the implications of incorrect master data on the outcomes of the production planning process
  • Function as a Power User for Master Data
  • Propose master data solutions within the existing system design to meet changing business requirements

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 1 to 2 years System related experience (including SAP)
  • Position will be based out of Skillman, NJ

  • APICS Cert
  • Project management Experience
  • Detail Oriented
  • Organizational Skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal direction
  • Advanced Excel Skills

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $96,600.
