Job description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scheduling and conducting testimonial interviews with our clients
- Editing content produced by our copywriters, video editors, and graphic designers (in-house and freelance)
- Building and scheduling marketing emails
- Building and scheduling social media content
- Assisting the Marketing Director in the execution and monitoring of paid social media and SEM campaigns
- Coordinating with the Marketing Director and providing creative direction for one-off visual media projects (e.g., banners, promotional materials, etc.)
Marketing Research, Strategy & Planning:
- Maintain research spreadsheet of competitors
- Maintain research and calendar of upcoming trade shows/events
- Maintain an archive of pricing options for new promotional swag
Event Planning & Logistics:
- Assisting with exhibit booth selection, payments to show, and exhibitor services
- Booking flights, hotel reservations, and rideshare/rental car(s)
- Preparing a master budget for each show
- Packaging and preparing booth equipment (e.g., tables, monitors, backdrop(s), etc.)
- Owning production of new presentation decks for webinars
- Setting up Zoom webinars for owned CLE presentations
Administrative:
- Postage and shipping
- Procurement of marketing materials (e.g., plaques, swag, print collateral, etc.)
- Fielding and directing incoming phone calls
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (Communication, public relations, marketing, or related field a plus but not required)
- 2-5 years experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or event planning
- Understanding of social media platforms and engagement
- Knowledge of HTML and email marketing a plus
- Certification in Google Ads and SEM knowledge a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits conceptual knowledge of company identity, mission, and goals
- An ability to work on big strategic plans as well as day-to-day tasks
- Ability to think both creatively and analytically
- Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills
- Project and budget management skills
- Responds well under pressure with strict time limits
- Quick and enthusiastic learner
