The Marketing Specialist will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies that increase our brand visibility and awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns that effectively reach and engage our target audience, and for tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of these campaigns. Experience in the structural engineering or architecture field is highly desirable, as the Marketing Specialist will be collaborating with our technical staff to create informative and engaging technical content for marketing purposes.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies that align with our company's overall strategic goals.
- Work with the leadership team to identify target markets and create targeted marketing campaigns that effectively reach and engage potential clients.
- Collaborate with technical staff to create informative and engaging technical content for marketing purposes.
- Manage and update the company's website and social media accounts to ensure they are informative, up-to-date, and engaging.
- Photograph projects to build and maintain a strong portfolio of projects for proposal and other business development purposes.

- Provide event preparation sheets to others attending events highlighting our experience within that specific sector and relevant, recent projects.
- Develop and manage corporate giving initiatives to maximize impact and social capital.
- Identify and pursue award opportunities for projects, individuals, and the company to increase recognition in the industry.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to ensure that the company remains competitive in the industry.
- Develop and manage the company's advertising campaigns across various media channels (Facebook, Google AdWords, etc).
- Provide administrative support when needed, such as answering phones and performing other administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the AEC industry from a B2B perspective.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
- Familiarity with website content management systems such as Wix.
