Job Description summary:
Responsible for assisting in the property marketing plan to create positive Company image and motivate travel to the property. Develop and implement new market strategies, while making maximum utilization of established budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
- Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
- Develop operating and capital budgets and effectively manage those budgets.
- Ensure compliance of all subordinates to both company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Work closely with VP of Marketing to coordinate marketing activities, promotions and programs.
- Plan all monthly and quarterly promotions. Review and make changes as necessary based on budgets and input from Executive Team.
- Create all BEO and timelines for all events.
- Submit ideas for all creative material for Media/billboards. Review material, obtain approval and ensure that all content is accurate.
- Input all receivables/invoices/projected costs into MMS.
- Assist in database (Free Play offers) planning and scheduling.
- Schedule, approve and coordinate all Promotions Marketing staff to ensure proper coverage for all events.
- Review all entertainment contracts and submit to VP for signature.
- Review and approve all Monthly mailers and promotions.
- Manage Public Relations such as press releases and press conferences.
- Assist in advertising campaigns and promotions, production of signage, collateral materials, video and photography products and customer response programs.
- Work closely with VP of Marketing to conceptualize, create, manage, and coordinate marketing activities.
- Provide NYS Gaming Commission rules on a monthly basis for all promotions, programs and FPAF’s.
- Responsible for all entertainment indoor and outdoor bookings, contracts, and riders.
- Create and plan Player Development parties.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises the activities of all persons assigned to the Players Club and Player Development Departments.
Carries out the supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BA in Business, Marketing or related field or three to five years experience in marketing, promotions or advertising, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
