Marketing Manager for Forte Business Services

This is a full-time marketing position with a focus on providing superior marketing strategy and implementation leadership. This person will manage our website, oversee our Hubspot account, and coordinate internal and external resources to execute various marketing campaigns to grow our business and support our clients.To succeed on this team, you must be ready to work with internal and external stakeholders across a variety of disciplines and industries - and regularly juggle a number of high-priority tasks.
The qualified candidate will have strong skills in developing marketing strategy and execution plans, be able to develop staff (internal and external), be a clear communicator, solve problems, and keep teams and leadership aligned toward performance goals. This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual with a background and passion for marketing strategy, who also enjoys working with a small team and multiple contractors, learning about a wide selection of technologies, tools, and ideas, and helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Responsibilities include:*
- Build a bench of subject matter experts to complete marketing execution deliverables under your direction (digital marketing, research, content development, social media, SEO, digital advertising, PR, events, etc) – with accountability for internal metrics and profitability.
- Provide internal leadership and grow Forte’s marketing strategy practice as an integral part of our growth trajectory, including evolving the practice’s strategic agenda, go to market approach, offerings, and positioning.
- Stay current and share the evolving trends, human insights and emerging platforms in an effort to generate unique and creative ways to grow our presence. Act as Forte’s Subject Matter Expert in marketing strategy and market validation.
- This role’s involvement includes existing and new client acquisition, as well as improving the organization’s internal work processes.
- Supervision of staff, both direct and indirect oversight of assignments, deliverables, and employee development.
- While most of our work is in-office or remote, some travel or occasional client-facing meetings may be necessary.

Competitive candidates will:*
- 5+ years of traditional or digital marketing experience, including significant experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, working with senior level decision makers, and leading teams. Business development experience is a plus.
- Experience as a trusted adviser who can translate business objectives into successful marketing programs, provide unbiased and candid feedback, have difficult conversations under pressure, and diffuse conflicting viewpoints.
- A self-starter who is able to both work independently and build and lead a remote team.
- Track record of maintaining long standing working relationships, and a list of professional references to reflect their reputation.
- Be highly collaborative and results-oriented.

Location:*
- This is a full time position based in Memphis, TN.
- We are open to remote candidates so long as they are in the United States, available to work between 9am and 5pm CST, and are willing to travel to Memphis, TN a couple times a year.
