Marketing and Communications Manager
The marketing and communications manager will be a member of the ASG leadership team and work closely with each ASG company to develop and execute strategic, creative, engaging, and informative communications and marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and grow market share.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing internal and external campaigns comprised of written, visual, and multimedia content for a multitude of uses. Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker, detail-oriented, results-driven, and has experience planning and executing projects involving multiple key constituencies with competing priorities.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceive and execute communications strategies and campaigns supporting internal and external company initiatives
- Developing written, visual, and multimedia content for:
o Proposals, qualification statements, and presentations supporting the pursuit and acquisition of new work
o Brochures, whitepapers, and other marketing collateral supporting general market awareness and business development
o Social media
o Internal company announcements and initiatives
o Press releases
o Articles contributing to company publications, including Clark’s quarterly magazine, Superstructure
o Advertisements
- Develop content for and maintain company websites
- Develop content for and maintain social media accounts, with a focus on paid LinkedIn advertising campaigns
- Maintain company data and information associated with marketing and communications databases
- Uphold consistent corporate brand standards in written communication and visual collateral
- Leverage an internal and external networks to effectively produce high-quality content across a variety of projects
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing and/or communications experience; Professional service or consulting industry experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Communications, English, Business, Marketing, or other relevant focus of study in writing, communication, and critical analysis.
- Strong organizational, planning and project management skills and the ability to coordinate the activities of various team members when faced with multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and editing, as well as attention to detail
- Experience developing and executing unique messaging for campaigns to grow brand awareness
- Experience supporting the acquisition of new work, including qualification packages, proposal responses, and client presentations
- A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and effective communication
- Creativity and resourcefulness, with the ability to execute creative ideas effectively
- Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and results driven.
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills with a “hands-on” and team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,) required
