onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to work in the Post Fab area of our cleanroom in East Fishkill, New York! As an Operator, you would be at the front lines of the exciting process that converts batches of blank silicon wafers into carriers for complete integrated circuits. In our probe area, these integrated circuits are tested. Then, the final products are found in popular high-tech devices, like smartphones, tablets, and even medical devices and self-driving cars!

Shift Day 2 12hour/ compressed shifts: 6 AM-6:30 PM

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing cleanroom attire
• Day shift position
• Coin Stack clean operations, physical handling of frames and coin stack boxes, starts/ships
• Training on Control Center functions & moving WIP to other locations for processing
• Adhere to all processes and procedures for the job function being performed
• Set up and operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures
• Work in a team environment to meet production goals
• Demonstrate personal learning by achieving certifications
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• Experience: 0-2+ years of relevant experience

• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a) (3)

• Must have self-sufficient computer and email skills

• Physical Capacity Demands - Clean Room, Extended Standing, and Walking, Repetitive Movements

• Must be comfortable with wearing a cleanroom suit, facemask, and gloves

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift

• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

• Demonstrated ability to receive and follow instructions

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Team player
