Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking for “HEDIS Senior Data Analyst “; who could join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Job Location: Remote

Role: HEDIS and SQL (Hands-on)

Work experience required: 10 + yrs

Skill set: SQL,SSIS,SSRS.Extensive experience with writing adhoc advanced queries in SQL

Required Skills:
Strong technical knowledge in SQL, SSIS, SSRS. Extensive experience with writing adhoc advanced queries, stored procedures in SQL and building SSIS packages and executing jobs
Experience in Healthcare domain across Payer, Provider, Pharmacy and Utilization management
Experience in data mining, SQL complex queries and business intelligence strategies to determine optimal data sources for reporting of member and provider data
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with Excel skills
Proficiency with translating complex analytic ideas into actionable insights for varied levels of audience
Ability to develop relationship with stakeholders and understand the requirements through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication
Self-driven, innovation, motivated, well-organized, willingness to work on an onsite/offshore model and ability to work in remote setting
Exemplary personal and professional integrity

Education & Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Work experience of minimum 8 years

Desired Skills:
Experience working for Healthcare clients in Payer, Provider domain
Good understanding and working experience in Member Enrollment, Claims Processing, HEDIS and Stars Measures
Experience working with high end technology product development environment

Responsibilities:
Perform data quality verification checks to ensure accuracy of reports and data
Implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
Develop custom reports to support client data analysis
Perform data load in HEDIS measure engine and generate measure rate reports
Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems utilizing data. Conduct root cause analysis for HEDIS measure improvement
Implement processes and solutions based on data driven decision making
Use SQL knowledge to write queries, stored procedures as needed to perform HEDIS measure analysis & reporting
