As the Procurement Manager North America, you will establish, manage and improve all aspects of strategic sourcing services and goods for DN North America. You will have an overall goal of maximizing value of the sourcing decisions, improving cost and service competitiveness, developing supplier relationships and improving relevant internal and external processes.

• Developing and executing long-term procurement strategies across all indirect categories included but not limited to logistics, temp labor and external expert, field services (installation, repair & maintenance), IT Hardware and maintenance, MRO and office supplies etc
• Building and management of relationships with key stakeholder to establish the function as a “Trusted Partner & Value Creator” internally and externally
• Implementing and aligning global indirect procurement strategies, objectives and deliverables
• Identifying, developing and implementing cost reduction strategies for Service Procurement taking into consideration best practice strategic methods (e.g. market leverage, supplier integration and cost analytics)
• Driving the sourcing process, supplier risk management and collaboration with other members of senior leadership to develop the procurement strategy
• Building market intelligence capabilities for analysis of market trends and best practices
• Identifying and managing supply chain risks to minimize negative impacts on organizational objectives while encouraging cost reduction and innovation opportunities
• Leading supplier integration programs and setting up cost transparency and market standards in the external value chain, using Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen/Total Quality Deployment methods. Drive continuous improvement across the services value chain.
• Building and managing relationships with key stakeholders to provide strategic insights on business needs, resolving complex issues and delivering high performance cost, service and quality outcomes and providing expert advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement to encourage innovative practices and support delivery of business and policy directions
• Developing and providing leadership, direction and effective management of the procurement team and cross-functional working groups to achieve a high-level of performance in procurement and delivering high quality service to stakeholders
• Establishing performance standards and evaluation processes to assess and report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, customer satisfaction, value, contribution margin/profitability and cost.

• Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Management or Engineering
• 6-8 years of experience in Indirect Procurement: ideally with general/installation and repair service for industrial hardware solutions (banking and retail) and Supply Chain
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• This is a hybrid role, must live within a reasonable commute to the North Canton, Ohio office.
