Ubique Group is looking for a 3P Marketplace Operations Manager to join one of our fastest growing business segments. This person will be relentlessly curious with an intense focus on results, driven by consistent innovation and supported by process development. They will be responsible for the daily operations of all our online marketplace channels including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and more! This individual will leverage their knowledge of online marketplaces to ensure that our products are in stock and available for sale at the right price.
They will have strong analytical skills to help improve conversion rates, manage communication with marketplace account managers, and collaborate internally to ensure that departmental objectives are consistently met. The 3P Marketplace Operations Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Ubique Group’s 3P division and collaborate closely with marketing, category management, and technology and agency partners to deliver sales and profit targets for the 3P business unit.
This position will report to the Senior Director, 3P Division and is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain our account health scores on all online marketplaces.
- Support new marketplace configuration both on the new marketplace and internal systems.
- Collaborate with our internal content team to drive listing quality improvements on marketplaces.
- Utilize data to uncover opportunities for improvement in shipping lead times and transit times to end customers.
- Create and manage Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) inbound shipments for multiple Amazon accounts.
- Manage listing compliance requirements across marketplaces, and work internally to ensure that any requirements are satisfied.
- Work with 3P Marketing Manager on new product launches, existing product improvements, and other department initiatives to improve sales and margin.
- Maintain healthy partnerships with marketplace account managers and collaborate on key promotional activities.
- Ensure internal systems are properly communicating with marketplaces for pricing, inventory, and orders.
- Provide key insights regarding sales improvement opportunities using data from internal systems and seller portals.
- Collaborate with advertising agencies to ensure smooth deployment of advertising and marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5+ years of relevant experience managing a marketplace business (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target, etc.) with a track record of delivering measurable results
- Proven strength in data, operations, and technology
- Ability to effectively manage diverse projects in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Creative problem solver with strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills
- Commitment to on-time, high-quality completion with excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude, professional communication, and effortless collaboration
- Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation
Preferred
- Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with MS Power BI, Tableau, or both
- Knowledge of furniture industry
